short&sweet sessions are shot by our talented associate photographer, Kristen, 30 minutes long and result in 12-14 finished images to choose from. They are held at 3-4 locations per season in the Capital Region… from parks, to lakes and rivers, to orchards, to historical and downtown sites. For children under 1 year of age, short&sweet sessions are also available at home. Because of their condensed time frame, these sessions are best for updated shots of the children (although mom and dad are welcome to jump in a shot or two).
short&sweet sessions are a great option for value-conscious clients who seek simple and stunning portraits of their child(ren) and want the experience, style and special touches of an established studio, but who are not ready for a custom session. They are also the perfect way to capture life’s little milestones and moments… a great image for holiday cards, a newly crawling baby, a 1st grader’s gap toothed grin.
Our most popular product, high resolution digital images, are included with your session. Digital images allow you the flexibility of sharing and printing your images, as well as archiving them forever. There are two session options.

50% of your selected session is due to reserve your date. A la carte prints and specialty products are available to add on after your session. Prints begin at 35.00.
