I had such a blast at our first day of modern silhouette sessions at PaperDolls of Saratoga. First of all, the store is AMAZING. They offer so many beautiful, drool inducing products that I literally could look around all day. If you haven’t been, you must, must go! Plus, owners Sarah and Cora are super sweet and have impeccable taste.
Our second and final date of silhouette sessions (at least for now) is Saturday, March 6 from 10-12. I believe we still have a few spots left, so if you are interested, give me a call at 396-9387. Never in my career have I met such a content little lady. Lauren was perfectly happy to hang out and observe the world, as long as she was in one of her dad’s super swaddles (I really wish I could bring him with me to every newborn session). It was a pleasure photographing this beautiful girl and her very doting mom and dad. The adoration a parent feels for their brand new baby is amazing, and one of my favorite things to capture on “film”.
Although all of my clients are exceedingly beautiful, I sometimes photograph a child who has a feature that takes my breath away. For Isabelle & Claire, it was these curls! They both are total spitfires, which I think fits them perfectly… corkscrew curls just don’t work as well on demure little girls. 
First of all… our first day of Silhouette Sessions (yesterday) were a smash hit! I loved getting to hang out with Sarah at PaperDolls and see some old and new faces. A blog post is to come complete with some images from the day!
Now onto Iver, the deliciously sweet third child (first boy!) of Lizzie Sorensen, the mastermind behind my brand and the boss who kicks my butt into gear when it comes to PR and marketing. Iver is already kind of famous. In keeping with her career as a publicist, Lizzie “live tweeted” a lot of her birth… not during the hard stuff, of course!… and garnered media attention as Albany’s first “TwitterBirth!”
This little peanut was a month early, but is already settling into his third child role extremely well… aka completely unfazed and letting his big sisters love him up as much as they want. Lizzie has a fun modern style, so I wanted our session to reflect that, and I think it did! Here are some previews, but for the whole sessions, click here.
