Just because this post wouldn’t be the same without a picture, here is an older ultrasound image. Baby was bouncing off the walls at our 12 week ultrasound so we were unable to get a good shot… it was pretty neat, though, watching it be so active! Let’s just hope it’s not quite as wild when I can actually start to feel those kicks and jabs. I am so grateful to work with lots of moms (and have one of the most fabulous moms I know working with me! As you know, Kristen is mom to 10 month old Carson), so if you have any advice for this first timer, please let me know!

A few days before Will passed away, I had the amazing privilege of photographing him, surrounded by dozens of family members, friends and staff at AMC. Despite on spending a few short hours in his world, Will had a profound affect on my life, and the lives of so many others. Who knew such a small person could put forth so much love, light and hope into this world?

I am writing this post not only in commemoration of Will’s first anniversary of getting his wings, but also to tell you about the foundation’s 1st annual gala.

Will, you continue to inspire me and so many others to be the best people we can. You are the true definition of a hero, little man!

Sessions are done, (most) orders have been shipped (they rest are on their way!), and the floor of my office is finally visible again. The studio will be closed from December 15-January 2 to allow for some holiday enjoyment and lots of behind-the-scenes work as we gear up for the new year. I will be answering emails/calls during this time (I know myself too well… I could never be disconnected for 2 weeks!), but turnaround time will be a bit slower. We are now booking sessions from January-March.

So what’s in store for 2010, you ask? Details will come, but some items of importance:

• A new look! As you can see from the website, we’re revamping and polishing up. New features and brand-spankin’ images will be added.
• We’re hitting the road and will be holding regular sessions in NYC, New Jersey and other areas around the Capital Region. If you live in the NYC or NJ area, shoot me an email… I’ve got a cool invitation-only promo going on for you and your pals!
• Several fantastic mini session events, some new products, and a whole lot more!

Now is definitely the time to become a fan of our Facebook page if you haven’t already, as this is where updates/promos/contests will be broadcast.

To all of my wonderful clients… you’ve made 2009 an amazing year! Thank you for letting me into your homes, and into the lives of your families. It is an honor and a privilege to get to watch your little ones grow. I can’t wait to see both old and new faces in the year hear. Have a happy holiday season!

I do have two weekday sessions remaining between now and 12/5. I also have a few spots open for dates after 12/5, although these will receive the orders after the holidays. ABP is closed from 12/21-1/11.

The other highlight of the night were the goodie bags that each mom got to take home. Inside were tons of gift certificates and coupons to local businesses. And I mean GOOD stuff. Rumor’s graciously donated a gift certificate for their express service to each and every guest… at $100 a pop! We also had some fab door prizes. I’ve already heard from several clients who went and pampered themselves. I have to give a shout out to the other businesses who donated gift certificates, coupons and door prizes ( I hope I am not forgetting anyone!)
